Active in nonwovens since 1968, Fibertex Nonwovens celebrates its 50 years anniversary.


Fibertex Nonwovens acquires the Brazilian nonwovens producer DUCI situated near Sao Paulo. Thereby increasing its spunlace production capacity.

Installation of new production line for thermally bonded materials for filtration and furniture applications in the Czech Republic.


Fibertex Nonwovens established Fibertex Private Limited in Bangalore, India and Fibertex Nonwovens Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. in Shanghai, China.

Fibertex Nonwovens acquires the Turkish nonwovens manufacturer Ribatek.
Fibertex Nonwovens increases its ownership interest in Fibertex South Africa to 74.2% and the manufacturing capacity with an investment in a state-of-the-art production line.


Fibertex acquires the American nonwovens producer Fibertex Nonwovens (formerly Non Woven Solutions) based in Ingleside, north of Chicago.

Fibertex increases the capacity for value-added products.


Fibertex Industrial Nonwovens and Fibertex Personal Care are split into two independent legal entities with effect from 1 January 2011. The new company name for Fibertex Industrial Nonwovens is Fibertex Nonwovens A/S. Fibertex Nonwovens acquires the French nonwovens manufacturer Tharreau Industries, now Fibertex Nonwovens S.A.S.
