2018

Fibertex Nonwovens acquires the Brazilian nonwovens producer DUCI situated near Sao Paulo. Thereby increasing its spunlace production capacity.

2016

Fibertex Nonwovens established Fibertex Private Limited in Bangalore, India and Fibertex Nonwovens Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. in Shanghai, China.

Installation of a new needlepunch line in the Czech Republic producing lightweight technical nonwovens for the automotive industry.

2015

With effect from 2 November 2015 Fibertex Nonwovens A/S has acquired the Turkish nonwovens manufacturer Ribatek.
 
With effect from 1st March 2015 Fibertex Nonwovens A/S has increased its ownership interest in Fibertex South Africa to 74.2% and increased the manufacturing capacity with an investment in a state-of-the-art production line.

2014

Fibertex acquires the American nonwovens producer Fibertex Nonwovens (formerly Non Woven Solutions) based in Ingleside, north of Chicago.

2012 - 2013

Fibertex increase the capacity for value-added products.

2011

Fibertex Industrial Nonwovens and Fibertex Personal Care are split into two independent legal entities with effect from 1 January 2011. The new company name for Fibertex Industrial Nonwovens is Fibertex Nonwovens A/S. Fibertex Nonwovens acquires the French nonwovens manufacturer Tharreau Industries, now Fibertex Nonwovens S.A.S.

Fibertex starts up a new factory in South Africa.

Installation of a high capacity needlepunch line in Denmark and a new needlepunch line with aerodynamic carding in the Czech Republic.

Fibertex Portugal is established as a sales subsidiary 100% owned by Fibertex.

A major investment programme initiated bringing Fibertex into a solid position as an increasingly important supplier of nonwovens. Fibertex starts supplying the Personal Care industry.
