What are Fibertex Geotextiles?
Fibertex Geotextiles are needlepunch nonwovens made from polypropylene. The drylaid needlepunch technology is based on a two-step process. Firstly, polypropylene resin is extruded into fibres. Secondly, the fibres are carded and needlepunched. Finally, many product types are added thermal treatment (for example IR bonding, hot air bonding or calendering). All Fibertex Geotextiles are UV-stabilised, resistant to acids and alkalis, protected against attack from fungi or rot. Read more about
needlepunch technology.
