Scope of management systems

The parent company, Fibertex A/S, includes the Personal Care Division and the Technical Division, located in Aalborg, Denmark. The company is certified according to ISO 9001:2000 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment), DS 2403 (Energy) and the SKS system (Electricity). In addition, the Personal Care Division works in accordance with the practices described in the HACCP (Hygiene) standard.

Environmental responsibility

Fibertex nonwovens are composed of polypropylene, polyester or blends, poly-mer materials, which when incinerated turn into carbon oxides and water. Consequently, Fibertex nonwovens are not harmful to the environment.

Aiming at sustainabiltiy

Did you know that Fibertex focuses on waste reduction? 84% of the production waste generated is recycled either internally or externally.

This continues the positive trend seen over the past 12 years as the recyclability parameter has gone up by 28% in 1995 to 84% in 2007.
