About Fibertex, a.s. (Czech Republic)

Fibertex, a.s. (formerly Vigona, a.s.) was established in 1949 and its main field of activity was the production of woven textiles and yarn and later nonwovens textiles. In 2000, the company underwent restructuring. It sold off its spinning plant and now focuses solely on the production of nonwovens for the automotive, filtration, furniture, construction, clothing, footwear and agriculture industries as well as products for the Do-it-Yourself sector. In 2004, the company was taken over by the Fibertex Group.
